Hi, Michaela,
Happy Thanksgiving – the gateway to the holiday season.
It’s our first snow too; so cozy drinking sparkling cider and making a new recipe for apple cake – smells delish!
Beautiful post. What else is new?
xoxo
Hi Victoria,
Happy Thanksgiving! It’s so lovely to hear from you. I hope all is well.
The sparkling cider sounds wonderful, and the apple cake? I hope you will share the recipe on your wonderful blog. My tummy is rumbling just hearing about such a delight!
It sure does seem like the doors are fast swinging open to the holiday season this year. And it is beautiful!

The sky is blue, the sun is shining, a dusting of snow is glistening in the field where the green glow of winter rye pokes through. It is just gorgeous.
Do you make Marion Cunningham’s Raised Waffles? They make the most delicious breakfast, and the real work is done before you go to bed so that the batter rises while you sleep. I use an electric Belgian waffle iron, and we have syrup from our own maple trees, which we heat before putting in a pitcher that goes on the table.
If you haven’t had these, I highly recommend a waffle iron heading your Christmas list.
